Seasonal Calendars
Two kinds of calendars are important to Local Biology - our 'People Calendar' and our 'Seasonal Nature Calendar.'
Both calendars are organized into "Past" and "Coming Up"
The People Calendar contains normal events, which people attend. These could include restoration & stewardship activities as well as native plant sales or lectures.

The Seasonal Nature Calendar is built of our observations about things happening outdoors, as well as our notes on the life cycles of species that we are learning about.

In general, we try to limit these calendars to just things we personally have observed, and events that we will try to attend, or at least recommend for our friends.
Calendar Resources
We are interested in connecting with existing calendars of people & natural events. Currently, it is very difficult to keep tabs on the many 'islands' of nature events. If you are interested in sharing event data with us, please let us know and we can talk about RSS feeds, google calendars and other calendar services.

It is by being a social business today that we can reach out to all people who want to understand the world they live in - the science, the spirit, the changing planet. We can reach around walls built by schools and other educational institutions, television, media, science, religion, language and country.
We know that we love and care about our Earth and in this we unite as this 'social business,' the business being that we are all working together to bring this knowledge together on this website and to other real projects in our towns — working with our own communities and, especially, friends.
