Some of you may already do this... but for those of you who are like me, who are always running out the front door just in the nick of time to catch your bus or train, here's a simple tool to help you see more:
Leave for work five minutes early. Or even ten, if you can manage it.
It sounds simple, and it is, but it's made a huge difference in my life.
By leaving five or ten minutes early, you allow yourself enough time to try a different walking route (maybe there's an interesting tree around the corner that you've never seen), to stop and watch something (like a flock of birds in a tree), or to spend some time looking up at the sky.
If you drive to work, you can use the few extra minutes to look around before or after you get in your car.
Try it tomorrow! And let me know what you see!
